Every year on May 16th, Pietramontecorvino comes alive with a procession celebrating the town’s patron saint. Starting in 1889, the feast remembers a miraculous rain that saved the fields during a drought. Since then, every year the statue of Saint Albert is carried to the old cathedral ruins in Montecorvino, accompanied by palij – long wooden poles decorated with ribbons and multicolored handkerchiefs.

The Feast of Saint Albert is a time for families and friends to gather, celebrating the rich culture and community spirit that defines this beautiful town.
