Description
Honey type included:
MILLEFIORI
Millefiori honey, which in Italian means “honey of a thousand flowers”, is golden in color and has a complex flavor profile. Its flavor represents the diversity of the many wildflowers visited by the bees who make it. The more flowers visited by a single bee, the more complex its honey’s flavor and aroma become. Millefiori honey is often used for its ambrosial taste. It also has homeopathic uses and is a common addition to teas to soothe sore throats.
CORIANDOLO
Coriander Honey is one of the rarest honeys, as coriander nectar is produced only in specific weather conditions. The coriander plant could go up to five years without producing nectar! The honey is amber in color and has a zesty, spicy flavor. Coriander honey’s balance of spice and sweetness makes it an ideal candidate to add a punch of flavor to dressings and beverages, such as hot toddies or lemonade. In addition, it is said to help aid digestion.
